The site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18 years.
The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and any or all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.
All our meals are approved by paediatric dietitians for children from 6 months, but we do not offer specific dietary, medical or health advice. Our meals are made in sanitary, commercial food kitchens that handles allergens. It is your responsibility to always check the complete ingredients list in the weekly menus sent to you in the deliveries. It is your responsibility to ensure that any food you feed to your child does not cause any adverse reaction and we cannot be held responsible for any allergic reaction your child may have or any adverse consequences resulting from an allergy. If you suspect your child may be allergic or is having any other adverse health event, immediately contact your GP or call 999 in event of a medical emergency.
As we provide a large chunk of our “know-how” in the first delivery, we cannot refund you once you have received your first delivery. If your child develops an allergic reaction to any of the ingredients we introduce, you must let us know as soon as possible. We will aim to serve you an alternative but it may not always be possible.
It remains your responsibility to ensure there is no allergens in the meals you serve to your baby.
We reserve the right at our absolute discretion to cancel your order at any time without giving any reasons for our decision. Such reasons may include (but not limited to) when You placed an order outside Our delivery zone or nonpayment.
Our meals are best consumed according to the weaning plan. If not, please freeze immediately and consume within 1 month. While storing and reheating our meals, We recommend that You follow the Food Standard Agency (FSA)’s instructions on safe food handling, which can be found at https://www.food.gov.uk/food-safety. Failure to follow safe food handling practices and temperature recommendations may increase the risk of foodborne illness.
It is Your sole responsibility to determine whether and how to serve our meals.
We aim to deliver your food during the delivery window communicated to you although it is not a guarantee as we may face issues beyond our control such as traffic.
If You cannot take delivery during Your delivery window, our driver will generally leave them for You at Your door or with a neighbour if possible. Any individual at the delivery address who accepts a delivery from us is presumed to be authorized to receive such delivery. Such person shall accept the delivery under all of the same terms and conditions that would apply had You accepted the delivery Yourself.
Our dedicated delivery drivers may try to contact you using the telephone number associated with your account, which may also be printed on the delivery label.
We cannot be held responsible for failed delivery caused by false information provided by You and You may still be charged.
As our meals are cooked and delivered fresh, it is best to be consumed according to our weaning plan. Please do not serve the food to your children if it has been left outside for too long or you suspect it may be spoilt due to incorrect storage. We accept no liability for any loss, damage or injury arising as a result of the incorrect storage, preparation or reheating of our meals.
We try to be as environmentally friendly as possible so please recycle your wool sleeves, gel packs and brown box by leaving them outside of Your door before Your next delivery. Please try not to leave food residuals in your recycling materials.
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”).
Our performance under any Contract is deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues. We will use our reasonable endeavours to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under the Contract may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.
Unless otherwise stated, V&Me and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on V&Me. All intellectual property rights are reserved.
